We pull out all the old wiring, install new copper Romex throughout the entire house, put in a new 200-amp panel, add grounded outlets everywhere, and bring the whole system up to current NEC code. Most rewires take about a week depending on the size of the house. We always pull permits and schedule inspections.
How Do We Work in Older Homes?
Rewiring an old house isnt like wiring new construction. You cant just rip walls open everywhere. We know how to fish wire through old plaster walls, work in balloon-frame construction, and minimize the holes we make. When were done, you shouldnt see much evidence we were there besides the new outlets and panel.
